How to correctly reveal the scratch-off codes for online registration or deregistration
For i-Kfz online procedures (such as registration or deregistration), you need the hidden security codes on your license plates and documents. Here you will find step-by-step explanations and video tutorials to reveal them safely.
1. Seal Plates on the License Plates
For online deregistration, you must reveal the security code on the license plate seal badges. Carefully remove the top layer (scratch-off area). Be careful not to damage the code underneath.
2. Registration Certificate Part I (ZB I) Security Code
On the back of the Registration Certificate Part I (vehicle registration document), there is a green or silver sticker with a scratch-off area. Carefully scratch to reveal the code for your registration or deregistration.
3. Registration Certificate Part II (ZB II) Security Code
The Registration Certificate Part II (vehicle title) also has a silver scratch-off area on the front. Scratch it carefully to reveal the code for your online registration.
